Group Obedience Classes Present a unique chance for dog owners to embark on an educational journey with their furry companions. These classes are designed to help you:

The ultimate goal of our Group Obedience Classes is to forge a deep bond between you and your dog, founded on mutual trust and respect. This connection is key to nurturing a highly motivated, attentive, and obedient canine companion.

Class Details:

- Registration is per dog/handler duo, although we warmly welcome other household members to attend as observers.

- Each group class lasts for about 45- 60 minutes and takes place weekly for a designated duration.

- All sessions are conducted at our dedicated facility located at 241 Rakoz Rd, Toledo WA, 98591

It's important to note that our group obedience classes are not suited for addressing issues of reactivity and aggression towards people or other dogs.

We maintain a strict policy of excusing, without a refund, any dog that exhibits aggressive or reactive behavior during classes. Should you have concerns regarding your dog's behavior, or if you believe an evaluation is necessary, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us to arrange an appointment.

Puppy Development

Welcome to Puppy Development, the perfect first step into the world of dog training for both new pups and their humans! This course is all about fun, bonding, and laying the foundation for a lifetime of good behavior. Imagine learning a secret language that lets you and your puppy understand each other perfectly—that's exactly what we'll do with our verbal marker based communication system. You'll become a pro at guiding your puppy into new behaviors with the power of luring, and your pup will love unlocking treats and praise for getting it right.

Think of it as a game where paying attention to you and making eye contact means winning fabulous prizes for your puppy. We'll cover all the essentials: from mastering the art of sitting pretty, lying down, staying put, coming when called, to the basics of heel work. And the best part? You can choose to learn in English or German commands—how cool is that?

But that's not all—we're going to explore all the important positions like front, right, left (heel), and even middle (snug between your feet). Our very own Kimberly will be your guide, offering breed-specific tips and always ready to tackle your burning questions. Basic Obedience Class

Imagine training sessions that are the absolute highlight of your dog's day, filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of tail wagging! Our Basic Obedience course is here to take you and your furry friend beyond what was covered in our Puppy Foundations class. Don't worry if you haven't attended Puppy Foundations; it's not a must to join the fun here. We're all about deepening your understanding of the verbal marker system and getting those basic commands down pat, now with the option to learn them in English or Dutch. Choose the language that feels right for you and your pup, and let's dive in together!

This course is packed with essential skills like sit, down, stand, come, stay, heel, enjoying walks without pulling, mastering touch pads, and getting comfy with basic positions like front, right side, heel (left side), and middle (snuggled between your legs).

But we're not just about drills; we want these skills to come in handy in real life, at home, or out and about. You'll learn how to gently guide your dog into positions, manage their energy levels, and use the Audax Protocol. This approach helps your dog choose positive behaviors even when they're stressed or distracted, keeping their focus locked on you, even in dog-filled spaces.

And because we believe in the power of play, we'll show you how to make playtime a powerful reward, including teaching your dog the 'out' command for releasing toys and starting on the path to a perfect retrieve. We'll also share insights on the right moments and methods for introducing corrections and how to swap out those naughty behaviors for good ones.

Our Intermediate Obedience course is designed to take what you and your furry friend have mastered in basic obedience and kick it up a notch! It's perfect for those who are already familiar with the verbal marker system, the art of luring, and the basics of dog commands. You can join us on this advanced journey by graduating from our Basic Obedience course or through a mix of private lessons and self-study that matches our unique training style. If your pup still finds it challenging to shake off those unwanted behaviors without a little extra help, a bit more time in Basic Obedience could be just the ticket.

This next-level course is all about refining and expanding your dog's skill set. Get ready to explore advanced maneuvers like focused heeling, mastering the art of sit and down on the move, perfecting the long down, achieving flawless recall even when distractions abound, and starting on exciting activities like jumps and formal retrieve. We'll be training amidst other dogs and their handlers, teaching your pup to stay laser-focused on the task at hand, ignoring anything that might divert their attention.

Advanced obedience class

Step into our Advanced Obedience course, where we take the fun and learning from our Intermediate Obedience classes to dazzling new heights! This course is all about joyful, positive training methods mixed with just the right amount of guidance to ensure your pup masters everything from the verbal marker system and luring techniques to a whole host of commands they've picked up along the way. While we absolutely adore seeing our students progress through our courses, we're also open to welcoming skilled dog-handler duos directly into our advanced classes after a detailed check to ensure you're both ready for the thrilling challenges that await.

Whether you've journeyed through our Basic and Intermediate Obedience courses or honed your skills through private lessons and dedicated practice, this course is designed to take your teamwork to the next level. If your pup is still a bit too eager to test the boundaries, a bit more time in our Basic Obedience might be the perfect solution.

Now, get ready for an adventure in Advanced Obedience! We'll dive into elaborate skills like focused heeling, performing commands while in motion, conquering the long down, mastering recall in distracting environments, and exploring exciting activities like send-outs, jumps, retrieves, and search tasks. And don't worry about those distractions—training alongside other dogs and handlers will teach your furry friend to stay focused and responsive.

We're also turning up the fun with reward schedules, showing you how to leverage your dog's drive for an even more impressive performance. The spotlight shines on play-based rewards, which for many pups will joyfully replace those food treats, making every learning moment feel like playtime.

Sometimes running alongside our Intermediate Obedience classes, this course offers breakout groups tailored to your specific skill level, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience for you and your pup. Ready to explore the limits of what you and your dog can achieve together, all while having the time of your lives? Our Advanced Obedience course is the perfect playground for you!

Flexible Training pass

Craving the convenience to train when it fits your schedule? Our Flexible Training Passes offer just that – the freedom to attend classes on your terms, while only paying for the sessions you attend. Pass is valid for 6 months.

Each individual session is available at $55. But, with our special pass offer of $550, you’ll get access to 12 classes for the cost of 10, gifting you 2 free sessions!

Class Times:

- Obedience Training: Join us Wednesday evenings at 5 PM or kickstart your weekend on Saturday mornings at 9:30AM.

- Protection Training: Gear up for action Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM.

Spaces are limited (15 per class), so be sure to RSVP and prepay to book your slot. Your Flexible Training Pass is your ticket to any of our obedience or protection training sessions, allowing you to mix and match as you please.

Remember, we take a pause during holiday weekends and classes might be rescheduled due to severe weather or instructor unavailability.
